1. What is Reishi Maintain and what are these Mushrooms used for?

Balancing the immune system, fighting infections and inflammation and more.

Japanese and Chinese herbalists have used Reishi mushrooms for 5000+ years. Chaga has been used in Eastern Europe and Russia for just as long. So we know they are safe and how they work in the body.

Reishi and Chaga have been used traditionally for bringing the immune system into balance. They also contain antihistamines, anti-inflammatories, and antimicrobials along with many other beneficial properties.

I ethically wildcrafted the Ganodemera Tsugae  (Reishi) mushrooms in a state forest in CT, the Ganoderma Lucidum (also Reishi) mushroom was grown outside on a log. A friend in Maine ethically wildcrafted the Chaga.

2. Why Mushrooms need to be double extracted:

Mushrooms contain chitin, which is not easily digested. Additionally, some of the properties in the mushrooms are only water-soluble and some are only alcohol-soluble. Spiral Herbal Remedies extracts the mushrooms in both alcohol and water so you'll have the full benefits of all the properties. That's important.

Most big brands only extract the mushrooms in water or they just grind up the mushrooms.

3. History:

Mushrooms have been used by many cultures for 4-5000 years, so we know they're safe. In China, Reishi's nickname is The Mushroom of Immortality. It contains antiinflammatories, antihistamines, antioxidants, anti-cancer properties, and immune balancing properties. 

Chaga contains all of the above properties but also contains properties helpful for your gut health. Often times plants and fungi look like the part of the body that it is intended to work on. In this case, Chaga looks like skin cancer, hinting at its effect.

4. What's In The Bottle?

Two different varieties of Reishi - (Ganoderma Lucidum and Ganoderma Tsugae), and Chaga. All have been extracted in both alcohol and water since some properties are only soluble in water and some are only soluble in alcohol. This ensures you the tincture contains all of the properties. I also added a little organic, Vermont-harvested maple syrup so it tastes better.
Suggested use - 20-30 drops under your tongue and then swallow, once a day as prevention and 3 times a day to fight infection. Go back to once a day once you're feeling better.

Shake before use. Store in a cool, dark location for longevity and potency. Keep out of reach of children. If you have allergies to any of these ingredients, do not use this product If you have an allergic reaction, stop taking this product.
